Welcome to Rubysgoldendoodles and Bernedoodles! We raise standard & medium sized Bernedoodles. We have 3 females who enrich our lives daily and we can’t imagine our family without them. Ruby is our F1 Black Goldendoodle (Retired) Aggie Belle, & Vernie Lu are our AKC Bernese Mountain Dog. We are located in beautiful Northern Wisconsin, but offer meeting families farther south in Eau Claire, Wi or Minneapolis for pickup; otherwise, families are welcome to make the trek to our home.
We desire to breed high quality, great temperament, healthy dogs that will enrich the lives of their families. We strongly believe this starts with a healthy, happy mother and a puppies best start to life while in our home. To achieve this we perform health testing on our dogs before breeding to ensure we are not passing undesirable things down to our puppies. Our mamas all live a free life with a family. We have several of our mamas in guardian homes so they can also have the benefit of living in a family setting to live their best lives to pass on the best of them to their puppies. This has allowed us to provide the best life to our mamas that live with us and to grow the next generation so we ethically breed ongoing. We also choose high quality Life’s Abundance Dog Food to feed our Mamas as well as their puppies. We strongly encourage families to continue this when they bring their puppy home as quality nutrition is so very important to each puppies long term health. Keeping our mamas happy and healthy starts with keeping our dogs as a huge part of our daily lives. We are able to hike daily on our property, camp, swim, and run with our girls. We live in Poplar, Wisconsin on property that is large enough for our girls to run free without the need for kennels. Our mamas love the outdoors, but love their family the most and are happiest when they are with us.
Our puppies play with our children on a daily basis, therefore; when they go to their forever homes they are well socialized. Because we are a small breeder our puppies are given more attention that larger breeders are able to give. We start the Puppy Culture Method when our puppies are just a few days old until they leave our home at 8 weeks old. We strongly encourage our future families to learn this method as it can be continued through week 12 and helps to produce the best dogs long term. We also partner with Baxter & Bella online training for lifetime support for families to ensure each family is ready for their puppy when they bring them home. Make sure to read our puppies and testimonial page to learn more about how we raise each puppy while in our home. We also have a page for each of our girls to help you get to know them better. The males we use live in guardian homes so we can give the best care to each of our mother’s and puppies we have in our home. We typically have an average of 3-4 litters yearly giving us more time with each puppy we raise.
We look forward to hearing from you and being a part of your future family addition!
Our dogs love coming to baseball, camping with us, and even getting to come help at Bible camp when I am the nurse for a week each summer.
Hiking on our property most daily and helping with bringing wood in each week are a favorite.
Below are some of the pictures from our puppy area. Our puppies transition to this space when they become more independent. This area gives them more space to play and learn while being in a climate controlled space. They eventually start to use the doggy door to help them become more acclimated to going potty outside. They receive lots of hands on care from the entire family as well as extended family.
